Enforces federal and state laws and local ordinances. Performs a variety of duties relative to assigned area of responsibility such as identifying and apprehending criminal violators; ensuring the free flow of traffic; executing warrants of arrest and assisting in serving warrants; answering calls for service.
Salary is between $34,944 and $38,488 yearly, depending on experience.
Take home vehicle granted after six months of service and must live within 30 miles of Bells City Limits.

Must be TCOLE certified*, at least 1 year of experience as a commissioned peace officer PREFERRED but not required, good driving record, no felony convictions, no Class B convictions in the last 10 years, must be of good moral character, no record of family violence, ability to work cooperatively with others or alone, must be able to work any and all shifts and holidays, must be fit to perform all duties of a Law Enforcement Officer.
